Here's the chipset inside the Honor Power with an 8,000 mAh battery

Honor is launching the first Power branded smartphone on April 15. This has so far been rumored to come with an insane 8,000 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 7 series chipset, but up until this point no rumor actually said which.

That changes now, as the prolific Chinese leakster who goes by Digital Chat Station on Weibo has finally revealed that the Honor Power will have the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC at the helm.

Once again, the outrageously huge 8,000 mAh battery capacity is "confirmed" (as much as a rumor can really confirm anything, of course), and this will allegedly be paired with support for 80W fast wired charging.

At that capacity, even with 80W, it will still probably take over an hour to go from zero to full, but that"s probably not a huge deal since we assume most people will definitely only charge this one during the night, as there"s probably no need for a midday top-up with such a big battery.
