Tipster claims the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's battery capacity will be less than 6,000 mAh
A recent report coming out of South Korea claimed that Samsung was planning to pack next year"s Galaxy S26 series with Si/C batteries, possibly with a capacity of up to 7,000 mAh. However, a tipster claims the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra won"t even have a 6,000 mAh battery.
The tipster was quite confident in their claim and said they would delete their X (previously called Twitter) account if the Galaxy S26 Ultra came with a 7,000 mAh or even a 6,000 mAh battery.

Iβll delete my Twitter account if Samsung gives the Galaxy S26 Ultra a 7000mAh or even a 6000mAh battery I bet. π

"Based on my Five Sources, the internal Samsung Test Lab only seem to have a Capacity of Max 5500mAh not more".
It"s worth mentioning that this tipster didn"t reveal if they were referring to Si/C type batteries or the Li-Ion batteries we have on the Galaxy S25 lineup.
Even itβs not complete 5500mAh itβs like 5396mAh.

Anyway, the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup is about a year away, so it"s best to wait for this information to be corroborated by multiple sources. We"ll definitely hear a lot about the S26 series in the coming months.
