Price for the vivo V27 Pro leaks, expect a small increase over the V25 Pro
The vivo V27 and V27 Pro will launch in India soon, the V27e is rumored to come later. vivo, of course, has not announced the prices of any of these models yet, but a new leak may have just revealed how much the Pro will cost.
The vivo V27 Pro will have an MSRP of ₹42,000, according to industry sources speaking to PriceBaba. This means that once the usual launch discounts are applied, the phone should be just under ₹40,000.
This would be for the base 8/128GB model, a 256GB option is expected as well. The phone is powered by the Dimensity 8200 as we’ve seen from the Google Play Console and will have a curved 1,080 x 2,400px display.
The price of the vanilla vivo V27 was not mentioned by the insiders, unfortunately. The vanilla model is also expected to have a curved screen and could be the first to launch with MediaTek’s new Dimensity 7200, the first 4nm mid-range chipset.
For comparison, the vivo V25 Pro went on sale in India at the end of August 2022 with a starting price of ₹40,000 (though it actually sold for ₹36,000 for the base 8/128GB model). The vanilla V25 launched at ₹33,000 (again, discounts immediately brought that down to ₹28,000 for an 8/128GB phone).
Right now the expectations are that the V25 series will be closely related to the vivo S16 models, though with different chipsets for the vanilla and “e” models (the V25e is expected to use a 4G chipset, the Helio G99).
PS. vivo launched the Y100 earlier today, a simpler phone starting at ₹25,000.
