Huawei Watch Fit 3 images and specs shared by German retailer
Huawei’s introduction of the Pura 70 series didn’t bring the rumored Huawei Watch Fit 3, but the company has an event scheduled for May 7 (next Tuesday) and it is quite likely that we will see the new watch as well as the global launch of the MateBook X Pro 2024.
The Huawei Watch Fit 3 has surfaced on some German retailers, which has revealed specs to go along with the leaked images. The Fit 2 has moved away from the tall aspect ratio of Huawei Bands towards a more square-ish design.
And the Fit 3 goes a step further and the 1.82” OLED display is a perfect square with 480 x 480px resolution. It is encased in an aluminum alloy frame that comes in black, white, gold and pink. The watch body isn’t rectangular, however, it measures 36.3 x 43.2 x 9.9mm and weighs 26g.
There will be a couple of strap options available – fluoroelastomer rubber and leather – and they are interchangeable. The watch is rated to be water resistant up to 5 ATM.
The Fit 3 will be a simpler device than round Huawei Watches, recent examples of which pack 32GB storage. This one will only have 4GB. It uses Bluetooth 5.2 to connect to your smartphone (Android 8+, iOS 13+), but it has its own GPS receiver on board. With a speaker and microphone, it can handle Bluetooth calling.
The watch will be equipped with the usual heart rate and blood-oxygen sensors. It will monitor your sleep and track your workouts too with workout planning and profiles, heart rate zones, calories burned and so on.
The 400mAh battery promises up to 10 days of use and using a 2-pin charging adapter, it can be recharged back to full in 1 hour and 8 minutes.
The Huawei Watch Fit 3 with a rubber band will cost €160, while the leather option will bring the price up to €180.
