Samsung planning mid-December release for One UI 7 Beta, sources claim
A couple of weeks ago, a rumor claimed that One UI 7 Beta will start rolling out in the week of November 18-24. That obviously didn’t happen, but another rumor detailed a release timeline for the new OS version, which started with the Galaxy S24 series getting it in the first week of December.
We’re not there yet, but it’s quite possible that this will fall through as well – One UI 7 Beta rollout will start in mid-December (i.e. week two or three), according to sources speaking to Tarun Vats. In case that name sounds familiar, Vats has been closely tracking Samsung’s firmware development and reported the first beta builds on Samsung’s test servers earlier this month.

Note that the mid-December timeline is for the Phase 1 countries: the US, Germany and South Korea. The Phase 2 countries are the UK, Poland, India and China, but there’s no word on how long it will take to go from Phase 1 to 2.
It could easily be after New Year, if the mid-December report is correct. And that is if you have a Galaxy S24, owners of an S23-series model and older will have to wait longer.
You will need even more patience than that if you want to skip the beta and install the stable release too – the timing of its release is unclear, all we can say for certain is that it’s not happening this year.
According to the leaked timeline (whose accuracy is now in question), the Beta period will last two months, so stable One UI 7 can be expected in February. That’s right around the expected launch of the Galaxy S25 series, which will presumably run One UI 7/Android 15 out of the box. Of course, the actual length of the beta period will depend on how buggy it is.
