Realme Buds Q2s announced with low latency for gaming and 30h battery life
At today"s Realme event in China, the company announced the rumored Realme Buds Q2s alongside the Realme V25 handset. The TWS buds sport a couple of standout features such as low latency for gaming, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and up to 30h of battery life.
The buds themselves run a 10mm Bass Boost Driver with TPU Polymer diaphragm and hold a 40 mAh battery inside each. That"s about 5 hours of continuous music playback. An additional 480 mAh battery inside the charging case boosts that to 30 hours, while a 10-minute charging restores 3 hours of battery life. That"s when you charge the case with the buds.
Other notable features include AAC audio codec, touch controls and voice assistant support, as well as AI ENC during calls. This should reduce the ambient sound around you so the party on the other end of the call can hear more clearly. The dedicated gaming mode ensures just 88ms latency while the IPX4 certification makes them suitable for outdoor activities as well.
Last, but not least, the charging case itself has a transparent lid and looks kind of cool. The Realme Q2s buds come in Paper White and Paper Green colors (just like the Realme GT2 series) as well as Black. The launch price is just CNY 199 ($32) and are already available in China.
