Realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ arrive with 108 MP cameras, Android 13
The Realme 10 series are quickly expanding as today the two Pro members went finally official. The Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+ offer 108MP main cameras, big 5,000 mAh batteries with fast charging, and the latest Realme UI 4.0 out of the box.
Realme 10 Pro
The 10 Pro runs on Snapdragon 695 chipset, built on the 6nm process and features very ample 256GB storage in its base version, which is not something most flagships even do. LPDDR4X RAM is either 8GB or 12GB.
At the front we have a 6.72” LCD with 1080p resolution. The screen refresh rate is up 120Hz, while the touch sampling rate is 240 Hz. Realme says the screen can reach 680 nits of brightness. The fingerprint scanner on the side on top of the power button.
The 108MP main camera comes with a Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor that is 1/1.67” in size with 0.64μm pixels and a Nonapixel pattern which is nine-to-one pixel binning. Alognside it is a mere 2MP depth sensor. There is a single 16MP selfie shooter inside a punch hole.
The 5,000mAh battery brings 33W fast charging along with it. The Realme 10 Pro has two SIM slots and also supports dual 5G stand-by, but there"s no microSD slot.
The Realme 10 Pro, along with its Pro+ sibling boots Realme 4.0 UI out of the box, which is based on Android 13. That makes them the first Realme phones to offer the latest Android version from the start of their availability.
Realme 10 Pro will start selling on November 24 in three colors - Blue gradient, plain Black, and the hero color Star Light. Prices are CNY1,599 ($225/€215) for the 8/256GB variant and CNY1,899 ($265/€255) for the 12/256GB version.
Realme 10 Pro+
The Realme 10 Pro+ comes with Dimensity 1080 chipset, but strangely enough comes with 8/128GB base version - lower than the non-plus Pro.
The front panel is a 6.7” AMOLED with 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 360 Hz touch sampling rate. The 10-bit panel has 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and claims to reach 800 nit peak brightness.
The phone comes with 61-degree 2.5D curved sides, which is a first for the Realme number series, and extremely rare in general for the company’s portfolio. It should significantly boost handling, along with the relatively light 173 gram body.
The Realme 10 Pro+ is just 7.78 mm thin outside the camera module, but still fits a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging. The company also provided a super-thin protective glass on top of the screen - just 0.65mm.
The 108MP camera has a 6P f/1.75 lens in front. Below it are an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera with 112-degree FoV and f/2.2 lens and a 2MP macro shooter for close-up shots from 4cm.
The selfie shooter has a 16MP sensor and just like on the Pro is tucked inside a punch hole.
The Realme 10 Pro+ also ships with the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0. Its wireless connectivity highlights include support for dual 5G standby, NFC, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi standards and dual-frequency GNSS.
The price of the Realme 10 Pro+ begins at CNY1,699 ($240/€230) for the 8/128 GB option. The 8/256 GB is CNY1,999 ($280/€270), and the 12/256 GB will sell for CNY2,399 ($336/€324). The first sale is scheduled for next Thursday, November 24.
