Oppo A5 and A5 Life launch date and detailed specs emerge
Oppo A5 and A5 Life (or Vitality edition as the direct translation goes) are set to launch in China next week, on March 18. Both phones are listed on Oppo’s official webshop ahead of their announcement, and tipster @ZionsAnvin also shared some detailed specs for both devices.

Oppo A5 (PKQ110) will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display (FHD+ 120Hz) and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset paired with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256/512GB storage.
Both the A5 and A5 Vitality Edition will be IP66, 68, and 69 rated against dust and water. The leaked specs suggest we’ll see a 50MP main cam alongside a 2MP auxiliary lens on the back and an 8MP front-facing cam. The device will boot ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and will feature a 6,500 mAh battery with 45W charging support.
Oppo A5 will be available in Mica Blue, Crystal Diamond Pink and Zircon Black colors.
Oppo A5 Vitality Edition (PKV110) will offer a 6.7-inch LCD with HD+ resolution. It will opt for MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset with 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage. It should also get a 50MP main cam and a 2MP auxiliary lens on the back while the front will house an 8MP selfie cam.
The Vitality Edition device will offer a smaller 5,800mAh battery with 45W charging and will boot the same ColorOS 15 interface as the regular A5 model.
Oppo A5 Vitality Edition will be available in Agate Pink, Jade Green and Amber Black colors.
Both devices will feature starting prices in the CNY 1,000 range ($140).
