nubia Flip 2 emerges in listing
Back in February, ZTE announced its first flip-foldable – the ZTE Libero Flip. That device then made its way to the global market as the nubia Flip, and we now have our first look at its successor – the nubia Flip 2 (NX732J), which appeared in certification listing on China’s TENAA agency.
Flip 2 will offer a redesigned look with a substantially larger 3-inch AMOLED cover screen with 422×682px resolution. The outside screen now features a rectangular look instead of the round one of its predecessor. It is flanked by two cameras – a 50MP main shooter and a 2MP auxiliary module. We can also spot a round LED flash below the two cameras.
The main screen is listed at 6.85 inches, and it’s still of the AMOLED variety with the same 1,188×2,970px resolution. Flip 2 comes with a 32MP selfie cam embedded in the punch-hole cutout.
Flip 2 is listed at 169.4×76×7.2(mm) in its unfolded state which is in line with the first-gen nubia Flip. The new device will be lighter at 193 grams compared to 214 grams on the current model.
The listing does not mention the chipset but we do get confirmation that the Flip 2 will come with 6/8/12GB RAM and a 4,225mAh battery.
