Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite in for review
Say hello to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, which is the 4G counterpart to the Mi 11 Lite 5G. Before we get to the differences and similarities between the pair, here's a hands-on and key features video, starring both devices.
The unboxing experience across the Mi 11 Lite models is identical. You get the phone, a 27W charger, USB cable, headphone dongle, complimentary case and a non-preinstalled plastic screen protector.
As for the differences between the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite and the Mi 11 Lite 5G, they come down to two things - the 4G model uses a Snapdragon 732G instead of the Snapdragon 780G and it has a 16MP selfie camera, instead of the 5G's 20MP.
There's another physical difference as well - the Mi 11 Lite comes with a glossy rear panel, while the 5G gets a more premium-feeling matte finish.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is very light, which in tandem with its razor thin 6.8mm profile makes for a phone that's barely felt in the hand.
We didn't notice any difference in general performance between the Mi 11 Lite and its 5G-enabled counterpart. Both phones feel fluid, which is augmented by the 90Hz refresh rate of their screens.
We're starting our review process and the Mi 11 Lite will get a standalone piece, which will take some time. Do stay tuned!
