Xiaomi certifies Mix Fold 3 with 67W fast charging for a third time in a row
Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 was certified at 3C with 67W fast charging. The 2308CPXD0C device is going to be third in a row with this standard and will be the living example of the popular saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 from 2022The phone was certified with an MDY-12-EF charger, a classic Xiaomi adapter that the company ships in most retail boxes since the 67W charging was adopted in mid-2020. Interestingly enough, while the charging power remains unchanged, everything else should be different, according to a company president.
Xiaomi will release the Mix Fold 3 in August with a thinner and lighter body, built in an entirely new plant with updated manufacturing systems. The cameras on the back will retain the Leica branding, while the chipset is expected to be Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The big question is whether this foldable will escape China or will remain exclusive to the domestic market as its two predecessors.
