Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro are on the way

At the beginning of this month, Xiaomi made the 15 and 15 Ultra official for global markets in Barcelona at MWC, and now the company already seems to be hard at work developing the next T series, which will as usual comprise two members: the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro, which will succeed the 14T and 14T Pro.
References to these have been spotted in the latest HyperOS 2.1 code, and thus we have confirmation that the T line will live on this year. There are unfortunately no specs to speak of, but there is an interesting detail to keep in mind.

The Xiaomi 15T Pro has the same internal codename as the upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra, a device that, if history repeats itself, will only be offered in China. So the 15T Pro will be the global version of that model, but it most likely won"t be a straight-up rebrand - the T series never were.
This is corroborated by the fact that the K80 Ultra and the 15T Pro have different model numbers. So what"s probably going to happen is that the 15T Pro will be heavily based on the K80 Ultra, but not identical - we especially expect upgrades in the camera department.
If Xiaomi goes the same route as it has in previous years, then we wouldn"t be surprised at all to see the 15T powered by MediaTek"s Dimensity 8400 SoC, and the Pro going with the Dimensity 9400 or 9400+. The launch event will most likely take place in September.
For what it"s worth, the Xiaomi 15T is codenamed "klimt" after Austrian painter Gustav Klimt, while the Pro is codenamed "turner", after English painter, continuing the theme of the T series devices using codenames that reference famous painters throughout history.
