vivo Y50t arrives with affordable price tag, three cameras
Another phone was launched by vivo in China - the vivo Y50t. The handset is not entirely new - it is the vivo Y70t but instead of the 5G-enabled Exynos chipset, the manufacturer decided to go with the LTE-only Snapdragon 720G.
The display on this phone is a 6.53â LCD with Full HD+ resolution and no fancy refresh rate or touch sampling rate. It does have a single punch hole in the left corner for the 8 MP selfie camera. There are three shooters on the back - a 48 MP main + 2 MP depth + 2 MP macro combination.
The vivo Y50t is offered with 8 GB RAM which can be increased up to 12 GB with the artificial Fusion feature that uses some of the storage. The room for files and data is 128 GB, but vivo equipped the Y50t smartphone with a microSD slot.
The battery of the vivo Y50t is 4,500 mAh and supports 18W fast charging, and vivo has equipped the charger in the retail box. Other specs include Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 on top.
Vivo is offering the Y50t in Black or Blue for CNY1,399 or $220/â¬190. It is already up for grabs at the official store, as well as third-party retailers online and offline.
