Three Oppo Find X6 models leak, including Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 1-inch sensor
Some details on Oppoâs next flagship series, Find X6, started to leak late last year, but then things got quiet for a while as focus shifted to the Find N2 foldables. Now the X6 series is the center of attention again and it will allegedly go official next month. Preliminary specifications have surfaced for three models.
There will be an Oppo Find X6 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Another Pro model will use the Dimensity 9200 instead. Finally, the vanilla Find X6 will get the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Only the 8 Gen 2 phone is set to have LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the other two are expected to use the older standards.
All three phones will feature triple 50MP camera setups on their backs, though they will use different sensor combinations. The 8 Gen 2 powered Find X6 Pro will stand out with an IMX989, Sonyâs 1â sensor that is currently used in e.g. Xiaomiâs 12S Ultra and vivoâs X90 Pro+. The other two cameras will be based on the IMX890, a 1/1.56â sensor that is featured in the OnePlus 11.
The Oppo Find X6 Pro with Dimensity will use the IMX890 sensor behind every lens on its rear. The vanilla model will mix things up â IMX890 for the main, ISOCELL JN1 for the ultra wide and IMX763 for the telephoto.
All three will have 3D ToF sensor and a 13-channel color sensor that will assist the Hasselblad features. On the front, all X6 phones will use the RGBW IMX709 sensor with 32MP resolution. Note that only the two Pro models will use the second gen MariSilicon X2 ISP, the vanilla model will use the original MariSilicon ISP.
The 6.82â AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate (Samsung E6 panel) will be exclusive to the two Pros. Also, they will have 5,000mAh batteries with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. As the cherry on top, they will feature IP68 dust and water resistance.
The vanilla Oppo Find X2 will have a slightly smaller 6.74â AMOLED (by Tianma), still with 120Hz refresh rate. The battery will be smaller and slower: 4,800mAh capacity, 80W wired and 30W wireless charging. There will be water resistance, but the phone may not have an official IP rating.
Oppo is expected to launch the Find X6 series in China in February.
