Teaser images reveal Honor X9b's design

The Honor X9a was announced in January this year, and it appears that Honor is ready to announce the successor named X9b. The handset appeared on Honor's Malaysian website, showing the design of its back.

The design doesn't seem all that different from the X9a. It retains the circular camera island, although the ring seems thicker and it's protruding a bit more. The most obvious change, however, is the back panel. It appears the new X9b will be offered with vegan leather in at least one of its variants.

The company also posted a teaser image on its official X account, showing part of the front panel. It's going to be curved once again with a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera.

The current Honor X9a goes by the name Honor Magic5 Lite in some countries, but it's unclear if the X9b will also be sold under a different name. We won't have to wait long for the answers, judging by Honor's "coming soon" tag.
