Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5's colors tipped
Over a month ago, a media report revealed the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5's storage options, which are the same as their predecessors. Now we learn about the colors these foldable smartphones will come in, courtesy of DSCC CEO Ross Young.
According to Young, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will come in Beige, Gray, Light Green, and Light Pink colors, while the Galaxy Z Fold5 will be offered in Beige, Black, and Light Blue shades. Young also said that Samsung will surely give these colors "some good flashy names when launched along with some bespoke and lower volume colors."
The launch of the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 is still months away, and while we haven't heard anything from Samsung about its 2023 foldable smartphones yet, rumors have it that the Flip5 will have a larger cover screen, while the Fold5 will use a droplet-style hinge to reduce the gap when the phone's closed.
Both smartphones were recently spotted on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy - the same chip that powers the flagship Galaxy S23 series.
We also recently saw concept renders of the Galaxy Z Flip5 by Technizo Concept, created in collaboration with YouTuber Super Roader, which showed us what the vertically folding smartphone would look like with its bigger external screen. You can watch that video below if you haven't already.
The folks at SamMobile, citing their sources, said this concept was "spot on" and even created their own mockup (shown below) based on the actual design.
