Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra memory and storage details leak

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra has already been spotted in the Geekbench database, and details about its chipset and battery have been leaked too. Today it's time to focus on memory and storage configurations, as a new leak is bringing us exactly that.

According to a tipster on Twitter, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will be available in three versions: with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Since so far there have been no rumors about Samsung dropping the microSD card slot from the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup, we assume it's still in there to supplement your storage needs.

Note that the entry-level model with 128GB of space will have UFS 3.1 storage, while the other two get UFS 4.0. The reason for this is that there are currently no 128GB UFS 4.0 storage chips available. This is the same situation we've seen with the Galaxy S23's 8/128GB iteration earlier this year.

The regular Galaxy Tab S9 will also have at least two versions, one with 8GB of RAM, and another with 12GB, according to the same source, although no more details about it have been outed at this point.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series will have an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, and will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy SoC, the same one found in all three Galaxy S23 smartphones worldwide. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S9 is rumored to switch from an LCD screen to an AMOLED.
