After yesterday’s Galaxy Tab S9+ renders we finally get some more spec details on its larger sibling – the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. The new bit of info comes from reputable leakster Ice Universe and suggests the physical dimensions of the upcoming Tab Ultra will remain nearly identical to its predecessor. It will measure 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5mm just like the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra but the new model will be 11 grams heavier at 737g.
Tab S9 Ultra will boast the same 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display with 1848 x 2960 px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The leakster also confirmed the battery capacity on the Tab S9 Ultra will remain unchanged at 11,200 mAh and charging speeds will yet again be capped at 45W.
The new bits will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. Tab S9 Ultra alongside its siblings will be IP68 water and dust resistant which will be a first on the Galaxy Tab line outside of the Tab Active series.
