Retailers in Europe list Exynos-powered Galaxy S22 series

Samsung is once again expected to launch the Galaxy S series with two chipsets - the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra will get a Qualcomm platform in some markets, while others will feature the latest Exynos 2200. There were indication that Samsung faces issues with its in-house chipset, but those are seemingly cleared and Europe will stick to the Samsung-made Exynos 2200. The evidence comes in the form of retail listings across the EU.

The SM-S901B, SM-S906B, and SM-908B are all equipped with the unreleased new Exynos, as confirmed by previously surfaced Geekbench listings. The Qualcomm chip, usually reserved for the United States, South Korea and China, will have a different letter at the end - SM-S901E, SM-S906E, and SM-S908E.

Retailers like Zanetti Shop and Epto in Italy have already prepared their pages, although there aren’t any specs or official images yet. There is one price tag of €1,190 for a Galaxy S22+ 8/128 GB unit , but we hope it is a placeholder, otherwise, it would be a massive €150 increase over the predecessor.
