Redmi sells 1 million K70 units, Lamborghini Edition arrives tomorrow
Redmi introduced the K70 series a month ago, and today, the company announced the first major milestone in sales. The Xiaomi brand managed to push 1 million units of the lineup in just two weeks, smashing previous records for the K series.
Users purchased one of three phones - Redmi K70, K70 Pro, or K70e. The special edition wasnât available initially but will arrive tomorrow, December 21 - the Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse with a different design on the back panel.
The Redmi K70 arrived with a CNY2,499 ($350) price tag, while the K70 Pro started from CNY3,299 ($465) - attractive prices for the phones with new 50 MP cameras and flagship-tier chipsets.
The third addition to the lineup, the Redmi K70e, features a Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset, up to 90W charging and the same triple-camera design, costing only CNY1,999 ($280).
The Lamborghini Edition is the very same smartphone as the Redmi K70 Pro - a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 24 GB RAM, and 1 TB storage. Instead of having a rectangular camera island, this variant has a pentagon. Colors are Green or Yellow, the signature paint jobs of the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 track-only supercar.
