Redmi 13 gets certified, could be identical to the Poco M6 4G
There are already quite a few Redmi Note 13s out there, and a couple of Redmi 13Cs, but Xiaomi's sub-brand is apparently also working on a Redmi 13. This phone has been certified in Indonesia by SDPPI, with the model number 24040RN64Y.
While this certification doesn't reveal any specs, only confirming the name, the same device has already been certified by Singapore's IMDA, the US FCC, and the EEC. According to the FCC, it will have a 5,000 mAh typical capacity battery (4,930 mAh rated capacity) and support for 33W fast wired charging.
It will ship with Android 14 and HyperOS 1.0 on top, and will have Bluetooth 5.3 on board. Past rumors claimed it will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, and it might be the exact same device as the Poco M6 4G that has also received a bunch of certifications recently.
It would hardly be surprising for a smartphone to be launched under both Redmi and Poco brands in various markets, such shenanigans have after all been going on for years. The Poco M6 4G is expected to launch in India, and the Redmi 13 will also be offered over there, but it hasn't yet cleared the BIS certification, so its launch might be a bit further off. We'll let you know when we find out more.
