Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition unboxing
Realmeâs GT Neo 3 is currently the fastest charging phone on the market offering extreme speeds of up to 150W. We recently received a special (ninja scroll) package and it turned out to be the Naruto edition Realme GT Neo 3 bearing the limited edition phone and a bunch of themed goodies. Letâs take a good look at what the unboxing experience is like and what tricks come on the software side.
This is not your regular phone box - thatâs for sure. Realme made sure to adhere to the Naruto theme by packaging the GT Neo 3 in a scroll. This falls right in line with the partnership as scrolls play a vital part for the characters from the popular manga/anime series. The scroll is made from a soft-touch plastic with a velvet-like interior and a burgundy red leather-like flap held in place by a pair of buckles.
We initially thought that unwrapping the scroll would reveal the phone but it turned out that the whole piece was pure decoration. You actually need to open the side compartment of the scroll and slide out the cylindrical box housing the phone. You get a neat pattern on the box as well as a red Naruto symbol.
This is where we find the phone donning an orange and black look with a metallic-looking camera island all mimicking Narutoâs appearance. The rest of the goodies in the package include a specially themed Naruto shuriken SIM ejector tool, a clear silicone case, a black and orange USB-C cable and the 160W charging brick which also dons an orange paint job.
Taking a closer look at the phone, we can see the back features a soft-touch textured back while the camera island is in fact made from glass just like the standard GT Neo 3 though it does look like metal from a distance and more importantly it mimics Narutoâs headband.
Booting up the phone reveals more customization. Thereâs a pre-installed Naruto theme with custom icons, sounds and a Naruto charging animation as well as three unique wallpapers. The rest of the experience is just like on the regular GT Neo 3 including the exact same hardware - 120Hz AMOLED, 50MP main cam, Dimensity 8100 chipset and 4,500 mAh battery. We have a review of the GT Neo3 which you can check out here.
For CNY 2,799 (roughly $420) in China, the Naruto edition Realme GT Neo 3 is quite the looker and one of the best executed limited edition phones weâve come across. Whether or not it makes its way to international markets is yet to be determined.
