Realme GT 2 Pro full specs revealed by TENAA

2021-12-23

The Realme GT 2 Pro arriving on January 4 has been certified by TENAA, revealing full specs in the process. There are two Realme GT 2 Pro models - RMX3300 and RMX3301 - and it"s the former that"s bagged the Chinese regulator"s approval.

The smartphone is 8.2mm thick, weighs 199 grams, and packs a 6.7" QHD+ AMOLED screen. It"s powered by a 3GHz octa-core CPU, which we know is a part of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

TENAA lists the GT 2 Pro with two RAM (8/12GB) and three storage (128/256/512GB) options but doesn"t mention the Android version. However, thanks to AnTuTu, Geekbench, and a leaked image, we know it will boot Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 on top. We also know a 1TB storage version exists with 12GB RAM onboard.

The GT 2 Pro features a total of four cameras - a 32MP selfie shooter, and a triple set on the rear comprising two 50MP and one 2MP units. The second 50MP camera likely sits behind a 150° ultrawide lens, while the 2MP camera could be one of the not-so-useful depth or macro units.

TENAA has listed the GT 2 Pro with a rated battery capacity of 2,440 mAh, which likely refers to a single cell, so you can expect the total typical battery capacity to be 5,000 mAh.

The regulator doesn"t tell us anything about the charging speed, and while the smartphone is expected to support 125W charging, we are yet to see any clear indication of that.

TENAA also confirms that the Realme GT 2 Pro will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and support 5G networks but doesn"t include its images in the listing. However, we do know what the GT 2 Pro"s Master Edition looks like since Realme shared a few of its pictures.

The design we are looking at doesn"t match with the one we"ve seen in leaked renders since the latter is said to be a "camera performances variant," and it remains to be seen what the third (regular) version will actually look like.
