Realme exec confirms Neo7 SE chipset, promises "long battery life"
Realme Neo7 SE is expected to arrive this month, and its chipset was expected to be a new Mediatek platform. Today, Chase Xu, company VP, confirmed that the Dimensity 8400 Max and the phone will be the most powerful devices in its price segment.
The executive revealed that the phone will cost under CNY2,000, which is about $275, and we can only wonder whether the phone will escape China with a similarly attractive price tag.

Chase Xu said the new phone will offer lasting performance and long battery life, making comparisons with previous Neo SE devices that were part of the GT lineup. The Neo5 SE introduced 100W wired charging, while the Neo6 SE had the same rate but also brought an 8T LTPO OLED screen.
We expect the company to ditch the 100W wired charging for a more modest 80W, but up the battery capacity to the staggering 7,000 mAh, according to TENAA. We might also see the launch of an affordable Realme Neo7x with Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, but rumors about this phone have been scarce.
