Realme C63 certifications reveal some of its specs ahead of launch in India
Realme is working on a new smartphone for at least the Indian market, the C63. This is expected to be a lower-end offering catering to budget-conscious buyers and slotting into Realme's stable right underneath the recently unveiled C65. It's been recently certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which means it will definitely be sold in India, but of course it should make it to other markets too, we just don't know exactly which yet.
What we do know is that it will come with a marketed 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC wired fast charging (it was certified with a rated 4,880 mAh battery, and those usually get 5,000 mAh typical capacity).
The phone will also have an 8 MP f/1.8 front-facing camera, a 50 MP f/1.8 main rear camera, and it will, rather unsurprisingly, run Android 14 from day one, naturally with Realme UI 5.0 on top. It will interestingly be offered in two versions, one with a plastic back, the other with a fake leather finish. The C63 with the fake leather will be 7.79mm thick and weigh 191g.
Those are all the details about this handset that have been revealed so far, through certifications by BIS, the US FCC, TUV, and SDPPI in Indonesia. As soon as we find out more about it, we'll let you know.
