Realme 7i next in line for Realme UI 2.0 early access
Realme is working hard on bringing its Realme UI 2.0 to as much devices as possible. Community members on nearly a dozen phones are working on beta versions of the interface, and now another device joins the party - the Indian variant of Realme 7i.
To participate in the Early Access development process, owners of Realme 7i smartphones should go to the Software Update sub-menu in the phone’s Settings and then tap the gear icon in the top-right corner. They will be invited to participate in a Trial version, but not before providing some information about themselves. The slots are limited on a first-come-first-serve basis.
It is worth mentioning that the Realme UI 2.0 is based on Android 11, so rolling back to Android 10 is going to be easy but data will not be preserved, so users should back it up. Also, if a Realme 7i user exits the Early Access version of the UI, there’s no coming back.
Also, users have to be on the latest Realme UI 1.0 version, which is RMX2103PU_11.A.37. Another requirement is the Realme 7i to have at least 5 GB free storage and 60% battery charge before the switch begins.
