Realme 10s unveiled: Dimensity 810, 50MP camera, and 5,000 mAh battery

Realme today unveiled the Realme 10s as the newest member of the Realme 10 lineup, which consists of the Realme 10 4G, Realme 10 5G, Realme 10 Pro, and Realme 10 Pro+. However, it isn't an entirely new smartphone but a version of the Realme 9i 5G having more RAM, storage, faster charging, and one less camera on the rear.

The Realme 10s comes with 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and 33W charging. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 1TB. The dual camera setup on the rear is headlined by a 50MP camera like the 9i 5G. However, it's joined by a depth unit, while the 50MP primary camera on the 9i 5G is accompanied by portrait and macro units.

The Realme 10s also comes with Hi-Res Audio support that the 9i 5G doesn't have. But the rest of the specs are shared by both smartphones, including the Dimensity 810 chip, 6.6" FullHD+ 90Hz LCD, and Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0.

The 10s sports an 8MP selfie shooter, features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and has 5G connectivity. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port.

The Realme 10s is offered in blue and black colors and has two memory options - 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. The 128GB model is priced at CNY1,099 ($155/€150), while the 256GB version costs CNY1,299 ($185/€175). Both are available for pre-orders in China through Realme's official Chinese website, with sales beginning December 20.
