Our Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite (4G) video review is out

After our Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G video review, it’s time to turn our attention to the 4G Mi 11 Lite in our latest video breakdown. It’s €100 cheaper here in Europe compared to the 5G model so are the tradeoffs worth the saved cash? Join us as Will breaks down the Mi 11 Lite’s pros and cons.

Xiaomi went for a dual glass design with the Mi 11 Lite 4G, though this model brings a glossy back instead of the matte we saw on the 5G model. As the “Lite” name suggests, the phone is really slim and tips the scale at just 157 grams.

The 6.55 AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution offered a bright an vivid experience here. It’s important to note that the 4G model comes with HDR10 support instead of HDR10+ on the 5G version and Gorilla Glass 5 protection compared to GG 6.

You also get a 16MP selfie shooter here though we could not really make out the difference when comparing with the 5G model’s 20MP snapper. The stereo speaker setup was plenty loud and performed just as the 5G model did.

The biggest difference comes in the chipset department where we have the Snapdragon 732G SoC instead of the Snapdragon 780G. Performance in day to day tasks is similar across both though you can notice a difference in more demanding gaming titles. Of course, 5G connectivity is another difference but its use depends on how well it’s implemented in your region.
