Oppo signs two-year sponsorship deal with UEFA
Oppo announced today a new partnership with UEFA. The tech company will advertise its products in multiple tournaments, including the massively popular UEFA Champions League. The deal covers the next two seasons - 2022/23 and 2023/24.
As part of the deal, Oppo will enjoy visibility of its brand on broadcast backdrops, advertising panels at stadiums, as well as key positions on website and social media of Champions League, Super Cup, Futsal Champions League Finals and the Youth League Finals.
William Liu, President of Global Marketing at Oppo said the company “believes in the power of innovation to help with life’s challenges” and the synergy with UEFA’s desire to fight in the face of adversity is a perfect partnership.
Guy-Laurent Epstein, Marketing Director at UEFA confirmed Liu’s words and reiterated both parties are willing to work together to “connect and inspire football fans around the world”.
The partnership with UEFA is yet another major deal for the Chinese maker. Previously, we’ve seen the company work with Wimbledon and Roland-Garros in tennis, as well as the International Cricket Council. Oppo was also briefly partnering with FC Barcelona, and back in 2019, we even saw an Oppo Reno 10x Zoom branded in the signature blue and red colors.
