Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G and F21 Pro start receiving ColorOS 13 beta in India
Oppo unveiled ColorOS 13 back in August, and the OS update has already started rolling out to devices. Most notably and first in line were the flagship Find X5 and Find X5 Pro which already have a stable version available.
Keeping with its original update roadmap, the Reno 8 Pro 5G has now started receiving beta builds of ColorOS 13 in India. The same goes for the Oppo F21 Pro, which was originally part of the October beta wave, but has apparently been moved up.
If you are eligible and interested, you do still have to apply for the beta program. The process is pretty straightforward and is all done through the phone"s update interface. The instructions are in the following image.
As a reminder, ColorOS 13 features a big visual overhaul with Aquamorphic design and card style elements. Other features include animated effects, AOD improvements and special Playback control that now supports Spotify. The new OS version also comes with a big focus on privacy and security and cross-device collaboration with Windows devices and the Oppo Air tablet.
