Oppo K12 will be unveiled on April 24 as a rebranded OnePlus Nord CE4
The Oppo K12 first surfaced at the end of March, when a leak claimed that it would be nothing but a rebranded OnePlus Nord CE4, a phone that was announced at the beginning of this month. Today, Oppo has started teasing the launch, which is taking place on April 24 - that's this Wednesday.
The K12 will debut in the Chinese market at 2:30 PM local time on that day. The brand has so far revealed that it will come with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging - just like the OnePlus Nord CE4. The K12 will also have some AI features, which sound similar to those recently announced by OnePlus.
The K12 will be available in two colors that look exactly like those of the Nord CE4. Since this seems to indeed be a straight-up rebrand, let's also mention that the Nord CE4 has a 6.7-inch 120 Hz AMOLED touchscreen with 1,100-nit peak brightness, IP54 certification for dust and splash resistance, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 16 MP selfie camera, and an optical under-display fingerprint sensor.
