Oppo Find X7 Ultra surfaces, to offer satellite connection
We've been hearing a lot about the upcoming Oppo Find X7 series, especially the Pro model, which is expected to sport a dual periscope telephoto camera system, 100W charging and either a circular or an octagonal camera island. But the latest piece of information suggests the octagonal camera phone is actually an upcoming Ultra variant.
Digital Chat Station on Weibo posted a new report suggesting the Find X7 Ultra will support satellite connection. Interestingly, Oppo did say it will offer satellite messaging with its Find X7 series, but didn't mention any names. Apparently, the vanilla and Pro models will miss out on that feature.
The report also says the Pro and Ultra will share the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and the 3x + 6x dual periscope telephoto cameras, whereas the standard version will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip and come with a single 3x periscope unit.
