Oppo F19s launch set for September 27, Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition is 'coming soon'
The Oppo F19s we've been hearing about for nearly a month will be launched on September 27 in India. This revelation comes from Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart, which set up a promo page for the smartphone on its website.
The page also includes a few images of the F19s, revealing the phone's design reminiscent of the vanilla F19. The F19s will come in Glowing Gold and Glowing Black colors. The former will feature India's first AG Shimmering Sand Technology (whatever that means), while the latter will glow in the dark.
The F19s' rear panel houses a triple camera system, rumored to comprise 48MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor units.
The smartphone is built around a punch hole display, said to measure 6.43" diagonally and have FullHD+ resolution. Previous leaks claim this is an AMOLED panel, and the selfie shooter inside the punch hole uses a 16MP sensor.
The F19s was also rumored to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging. Although that bit is confirmed by Flipkart, which also confirms the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone. The online retailer also tells us that the F19s will be 7.95mm thick and will be advertised as the "sleekest phone with 5,000 mAh battery."
The Flipkart page doesn't reveal the processor that will power the F19s. However, the smartphone passed through Geekbench recently, confirming Snapdragon 662 SoC and 6GB RAM in the process.
In addition to revealing the F19s' launch date, design, and key specs, Flipkart also tells us about Oppo's plans of launching the Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition and the blue color variant of the Enco Buds TWS earphones in India, which are currently only available in white color.
The Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition will come in a new color, but like the F17 Pro Diwali Edition launched last year, it's expected to be identical to the regular models specs-wise. We may also see it arrive in a special gift box, with the pricing expected to be INR1,000 to INR2,000 higher.
Flipkart lists the Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition and Enco Buds Blue version as "coming soon" without giving us their launch dates. But now that both products are teased, it shouldn't be too long before they go on sale.
