OnePlus RT and Buds Z2 to launch in India in December
The OnePlus 9RT and Buds Z2 TWS earphones introduced in October in China are tipped to debut in India next month, with the former expected to launch with the OnePlus RT moniker.
The source claims that the OnePlus RT will be available in Hacker Black and Nano Silver colors in India, whereas the Buds Z2 will come in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colors.
The OnePlus 9RT is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard, and runs Android 11-based ColorOS 12 out of the box.
The smartphone is built around a 6.62" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED panel and ships with a 4,500 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port at up to 65W.
For photography, you get a 16MP selfie unit inside the punch hole, with the rectangular camera island on the rear housing 50MP primary (with OIS), 16MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro units.
The OnePlus 9RT comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, and stereo speakers, but no 3.5mm headphone jack.
Talking about the OnePlus Buds Z2, the TWS pack 11mm dynamic drivers in each bud and feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which is advertised to reduce outside noise up to 40dB.
The Buds Z2 come with Bluetooth 5.2 and support SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs. The earphones also have Dolby Atmos support and are IP55 rated, while the charging case is IPX4 splash-resistant.
Each bud is advertised to offer up to five hours of playback with ANC turned on and up to seven hours without it. When paired with the charging case, you can get up to 38 hours of endurance with noise cancellation enabled. And once the battery is fully drained, a quick 10-minute charge offers you up to five hours of listening - thanks to Warp Charge.
