OnePlus 13 appears in Qualcomm's latest teaser video

Qualcomm shared a teaser video showcasing its upcoming Oryon CPU, which will be at the heart of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The video itself doesn't reveal anything of substance except for what appears to be the unreleased OnePlus 13.

From what we can see, the back design of the depicted phone resembles that of the OnePlus 13 with the off-centered circular camera island design. We recently saw the front as well in a BOE teaser.

It's no secret that the OnePlus 13 will run on the next Snapdragon flagship SoC and we've even seen it perform. The rumors suggest that the OnePlus 13 will be announced sometime this month, and given that Qualcomm has scheduled its Snapdragon Summit event for October 22 to 24, it's safe to assume that OnePlus' top-tier device will be released shortly after.

As for the Snapdragon SoC, rumors suggest the naming scheme will change again. The chip may adopt the Snapdragon 8 Elite moniker or the Snapdragon 8 Ultra. In either case, Qualcomm is trying to highlight the big leap forward in performance and perhaps efficiency as well. Some believe the chip will be closer to the Snapdragon X Elite lineup and it will actually be a toned-down version of the latter. And if true, the new name will make more sense.
