New rumor says Galaxy Note 6 will be powered by SD823 SoC
The successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note5 - which isn't due anytime soon, but has already been the subject of a few rumors in the last couple of months - will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 823 chipset, according to a new rumor out of China.
The rumor - which seemingly lists common specifications for the Galaxy Note 6 as well as an unknown Sony Xperia device and the LG G Flex3 - also suggests a 25MP camera.
As for the other specs, previous rumors have suggested 5.8-inch QHD display, 6GB RAM, and 64 and 128GB internal storage options for the Note 6. The handset is also said to be IP68 certified, which guarantees the ability to to withstand submerging into up to 1.5m of water for up to 30 minutes.
Needless to say, none of this has been officially confirmed. So, take it with a pinch of salt. The Galaxy Note 6 is expected to be unveiled in September.
