New Poco M4 5G arrives globally, camera changes in tow
The Indian Poco M4 5G was launched back in April, and now it is time for other markets to get it as well.
The company has now introduced the global Poco M4 5G model. It"s almost the same device, but with a single big difference - the main camera and the front-facing shooter have downgraded sensors. The rest of the specs, down to the chipset and memory combinations, remain the same.
The screen of the Poco M4 5G remains a 6.58” LCD with Full HD+ resolution and up to 90 Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 700 chip has either 4/64 GB or 6/128 GB memory to keep it company. Other features that remain untouched are the 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging but the adapter in the box supports 22.5W.
The main camera is now 13 MP, instead of 50 MP, coupled with the same basic 2 MP depth sensor. The front-facing shooter arrives with a 5 MP sensor behind the waterdrop notch and the f/2.2 aperture.
Poco launched this entry-level phone with MIUI 13 for Poco on top of Android 12. It does have “5G” in its name, and because of M4’s international presence, more SA/NSA bands have been enabled.
Poco M4 5G is offered in three colors - Black, Blue, and the signature POCO Yellow.
The company will be offering it on at least one European market for €219 (4GB/64GB) and €249 (6GB/128GB), but prices will inevitably vary - especially in Asia.
