Moto G85 surfaces on its way to Europe, pricing leaks

Motorola is currently working on the Moto G85, a device that will obviously become the successor to the G84 from last year when it hits the streets. And while we don't yet know when that will happen, keep in mind that the G84 was announced last August, so the G85 could still be a ways off.

The G85 has been listed by a European retailer, confirming a launch in Europe, but of course it should also be offered in other places. The G85 is expected to cost €300, which is the same launch price its predecessor had, but the twist is that for this price you'll be getting 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

It's not every day we see such decent memory and storage amounts on mid-rangers like this one, so it's definitely a welcome development. Unfortunately no other specs for the G85 have been outed.

Don't expect a lot, however, for the G84 came with a 6.55-inch 1080x2400 120 Hz OLED touchscreen, the Snapdragon 695 SoC, a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 16 MP selfie shooter, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging. The new model should run Android 14 from day one.
