iQOO Neo 7 Pro's processor and charging speed officially confirmed ahead of July 4 unveiling

A few days ago, iQOO revealed the design of the iQOO Neo 7 Pro, which will be unveiled on July 4 in India. Now the company has confirmed a couple of key specs of the smartphone - its processor and charging speed.

iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which will be joined by an "Independent Gaming Chip" (IG Chip) to take the "gaming experience to new heights" and deliver "enhanced graphics and smooth gameplay."

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro will also support 120W FlashCharge technology, advertised to juice up the phone's battery up to 50% in eight minutes. The company didn't divulge the cell capacity, though.

Additionally, iQOO said the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will come with the Motion Control feature, allowing the users to "interact with games using intuitive phone movements enhancing the overall gaming experience." Besides, the Neo 7 Pro will be manufactured at vivo's Greater Noida facility in India to continue the brand's commitment to the Indian government's "Make in India" campaign.

iQOO is yet to detail the Neo 7 Pro's specs sheet, but rumors claim it's a rebranded iQOO Neo7 Racing that's currently available in China. If true, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will have a 6.78" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen (Amazon.in confirmed centered punch hole), an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 5,000 mAh battery.

There will be a 16MP selfie shooter on the front, with a triple camera setup on the rear comprising 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro units. However, the Neo 7 Pro will run Funtouch OS out of the box instead of Origin OS, since the latter is China-exclusive.
