iPhone 17 Pro may not bring a camera visor after all
A recent supply chain leak gave us our first look at the chassis of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro with a Pixel-like camera visor. We have a new report out of China from leakster InstantDigital, which claims that won’t be the final design, and we’ll see a return of the familiar triangular camera setup. The new rumor claims the backs of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will feature a different look, but it won’t involve the camera island.

As is the case with these types of rumors, it’s all speculation at this point, and it"s hard to verify what ends up being true. The source of the new rumor, in particular, holds a mixed track record in terms of predictions with several key contributions like the yellow iPhone 14 color, the frosted back glass of the iPhone 15 series and several leaks about the Apple Watch Series 9 and M4 iPad Pros.
Last month, rumors suggested the 17 Pro series was rumored to go back to aluminum frames but those claims were challenged with the latest rumor suggesting titanium frames once more.
