Infinix Note 30 VIP unboxing

Welcome to our unboxing of the freshly-announced Infinix Note 30 VIP.

Before we rip open the box and see the accessories you can get with this phone, let's do a quick rundown of its specs. The Infinix Note 30 VIP has a 6.67-inch 1080 AMOLED display with 900 nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Ticking inside the phone is a 6nm Dimensity 8050 chipset with 12GB of RAM. Powering it is a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired and 50W wireless charging support. There is a 108MP main camera on the back and a 32MP selfie camera on the front.

The Infinix Note 30 VIP

Alright, let's get to the unboxing. The phone proper comes with a case, a USB cable, a tempered glass screen protector, and a 68W charger. We also have Infinix's 15W fast wireless charger and its 50W Air-cooled wireless charger, but the latter is not actually part of the retail package and is sold separately.

Neither wireless charger comes with a brick and cable, you'll need to use the one provided in the box with the phone. But it's kind of a given that you'd have it since these chargers are tailor-made for the Infinix Note 30 VIP.

The 50W wireless charger doubles as a stand but it will only charge the phone in an upright position. It has a neat indicator light on the back that lights up in green when connected.

There's a cooling fan on the bottom of the charger that blows whenever the phone's on the charger.

The 50W wireless charger promises to charge the phone from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes. Going fully wired will give you 1%-80% in the same period. We'll test those claims in full so stay tuned!
