Honor View 20 will pack the flagship Kirin 980 chipset, AnTuTu shows

The Honor View 20 was teased earlier this week – or rather its 48MP rear camera and punch hole selfie camera were. We’re still in the dark about its other specs. Good thing AnTuTu offers pretty comprehensive reports about the hardware.

It confirms the flagship Kirin 980 chipset. It will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The phone will run Android 9 Pie out of the box. The benchmark score looks pretty consistent with a 980.

The unconfirmed price for the Honor View 20 is around the CNY 3,000 mark ($435/€385). The phone will be available in China on December 26, the global launch will be in late January.

A leak from earlier today showed that the Huawei nova 4 – a related phone that will also pack a 48MP camera – will use the older Kirin 970 chip.
