Best Buy sells the Pixel 8 Pro with a free Pixel Watch 2, Pixel 8 gets the Pixel Buds Pro instead

It has been almost exactly a year since Google unveiled the Pixel 7 series and the Pixel Watch – now their successors have arrived. They are available through Google’s online store, of course, but here is an offer from Best Buy (this is for US fans only).

Both phones come bundled with a Pixel accessory and you can get up to $800 credit when trading in an old device.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro is bundled with the new Pixel Watch 2, which is worth $350 on its own. The phone itself starts at $1,000 if you go for the 128GB model. Check out the deal on Best Buy.

The smaller Google Pixel 8 ($700) is bundled with the Pixel Buds Pro instead, these have an MSRP of $200. The buds aren’t new, it’s the same hardware as last year, though Google did add a couple of new color options: Porcelain and Blue. These two match the new Pro colors rather than the vanilla Pixel 8, which is available in Gray, Peony Rose and Obsidian. You can find this offer on Best Buy.

Google’s online store has a similar deal – the Pixel 8 Pro comes with a free Pixel Watch 2 (Wi-Fi) or free Pixel Buds Pro. The trade-in credit is capped at $750. As for the Pixel 8, this one nets you a free pair of Buds Pro or a $200 discount on the new Pixel Watch 2. The trade-in credit cap is even lower at $650.
