Micromax In 2b and In 2c benchmarked with Unisoc chipset, show Helio G80 level of performance
Micromax is staging a comeback and plans to release 4-5 new products every quarter, said co-founder Rahul Sharma. It already launched 1-series devices like the Micromax In 1, the In Note 1 and In 1b, now clues of the upcoming 2-series have surfaced.
The Micromax In 2b and In 2c both ran Geekbench 5 and both are powered by the same Unisoc T610 chipset connected to 4 GB of RAM and running Android 11.
Geekbench 5 scores: Micromax In 2b and In 2c
The Unisoc T610 is a 12 nm chipset with 2x Cortex-A75 cores at 1.8 GHz and 6x A55 cores also at 1.8 GHz. It also features a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. This is comparable to MediaTek’s Helio G80 chipset, a 12 nm chip with the same hardware that is used in the In 1 phone.
In fact, the Geekbench scores line up with other G80-powered devices (note that the G80 can clock its A75 cores higher, going up to 2.0 GHz). It’s also a huge upgrade over the Helio G35 found inside the Micromax In 1b in terms of single-core performance.

Micromax is promising to unveil affordable 5G phones this year, but these clearly aren’t it – the Unisoc has only a 4G modem - so there is more to come from the company.
