Boring Phone is an HMD-made anti-smartphone by Heineken
Heineken and creative firm Bodega have teamed up to release the Boring Phone. The device is manufactured by HMD and is limited to just 5,000 units - all of which will be part of giveaways. Boring Phone is meant to be as bland as possible with no third-party apps or Internet access to distract you.
Boring Phone is based on the Nokia 2660 Flip with a transparent casing and custom monochrome theme. There’s a 2.8” QVGA (240 x 320px) main screen and a 1.77" cover screen. The back houses a 0.3MP camera with LED flash while the software side is covered by Mocor RTOS. The device also boasts the fan-favorite Snake game, FM radio, and a headphone jack.
Boring Phone supports up to 4G connectivity and has dual SIM slots. The device features 128MB internal storage which is expandable via the microSD card slot. The removable 1,450mAh battery promises up to a week of standby and 6 hours of talk time on 3G/4G networks.
