vivo X Fold3 Pro gets certified in Indonesia, may launch internationally
It might finally be time for vivo to launch foldable devices outside of China. Following a few releases that have unfortunately been confined to its homeland, it now seems like vivo could have had a change of heart, starting with the just-unveiled X Fold3 Pro.
While the company itself hasn"t said anything on the matter just yet, the X Fold3 Pro has been certified in Indonesia. This is a usual step before sales commence in the country - hence why it"s easy to speculate that this means the X Fold3 Pro will make it to countries other than China.
It would definitely be a welcome competitor to the likes of Samsung"s Galaxy Z Fold5 (and Fold6 later this year), with its insane specs.
The vivo X Fold3 Pro comes with an 8.03" 120 Hz LTPO folding AMOLED screen, a 6.53" 120 Hz AMOLED cover display (both with 4,500-nit peak brightness), the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC at the helm, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus, 64 MP 3x periscope telephoto), a couple of 32 MP selfie cameras (one for each screen), and a mind-bending (for the form factor) 5,700 mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Did we mention all of this fits into a body that"s just 11.2mm thick when folded (5.2mm when unfolded), and which weighs only 236g? It is quite impressive.
