Samsung Galaxy S24 FE unboxing video leaks along with US pricing

Samsung"s Galaxy S24 FE was supposedly coming next month, according to a past rumor, then last week we heard it could drop this week, but that hasn"t happened yet. In the meantime, the phone just keeps on leaking, as it"s been doing for quite a long time now.

An official unboxing video has been outed by legendary leakster Evan Blass over on X. It confirms the spartan box, also the fact that it"s black cardboard. You aren"t getting a charger, but hopefully by this point you weren"t expecting one anyway. The S24 FE will be offered in blue, Graphite, gray, Mint, and yellow.

The video also promises "the most powerful camera ever in Galaxy FE series", with "stunning low-light portraits". The camera system is made up of a 50 MP main shooter, a 12 MP ultrawide, an 8 MP 3x optical zoom telephoto, and a 10 MP selfie snapper.

At the helm will sit Samsung"s own Exynos 2400e chipset, which is basically an underclocked version of the Exynos 2400. The display is 6.7" with 1,900-nit peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus+ on top, while the battery capacity is 4,700 mAh.

The device is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance, and will support Galaxy AI. According to a separate leak, it will start at $649 in the US with 128GB of storage. If you want the version with 256GB, you"ll need to pay $709. This pricing represents a $50 jump compared to last year"s Galaxy S23 FE when it launched.

For what it"s worth, earlier this month a similar price hike was rumored for Europe where the device would be €50 more expensive than its predecessor.
