Samsung Galaxy S22 series European pricing leaks, S22 Ultra to start with 8GB RAM
Samsung is expected to finally unveil its Galaxy S22 series flagships in about two weeks’ time. The countless leaks over the past months have left little to no unknown at this point but Roland Quandt is here to fill us in on one of the more important aspects – pricing. The baseline Galaxy S22 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will start at €849 in Europe which converts to about $960.
Whoever said S22 series was to be cheaper, didn"t think of Covid, parts shortages and inflation.

Actual official EURO prices:
S22 8/128GB = 849
S22 8/256GB = 899
S22+ 8/128GB = 1049
S22+ 8/256GB = 1099
S22 Ultra 8/128GB = 1249
S22 Ultra 12/256GB = 1349
S22 Ultra 12/512GB = 1449 pic.twitter.com/QRnfrhkzTz
Stepping up to €899 will reportedly get you an 8/256GB model. Galaxy S22+ starts at €1,049 for the 8/128GB model and goes up to €1,099 for the 8/256GB trim. The interesting bit comes when we look up the S22 Ultra with the baseline version only getting 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for the hefty €1,249 price tag. This is rather odd since the S20 Ultra and S21 Ultra both started with 12GB RAM in their baseline trim levels.
The 12GB RAM and 256GB S22 Ultra will reportedly go for €1,349 while the top of the line model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage will top out at €1,449. It’s also worth noting the absence of a 16GB RAM trim but we’ll just have to wait and see if these rumors end up true.
