Rumor: the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will have up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected later this month and we’ve already seen several key details leak. Now there are some corrections in addition to more details about the new phone.
According to a post on Weibo, the phone will have a 6.74” display with “1.5K” resolution – presumably, that will be the same 1,240 x 2,772px as the regular Ace 2. However, this will be a curved display like the original Ace Pro.
As previously reported, the Ace 2 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Leakster tech cloth claims that the phone’s top configuration will have a whopping 24GB of RAM and 1TB storage. If true, this will be only the second phone with that much RAM after the Red Magic 8S Pro+.
There’s more – the phone will support faster charging than expected, its 5,000mAh battery will reportedly go up to 150W. As a reminder, the original Ace Pro had a 4,800mAh/150W battery, the Ace 2 has a 5,000mAh/100W battery.
We previously heard that the new model will have a 50+8+2MP camera setup, the new report confirms that and adds that the main sensor will be the IMX890, the same sensor is used in the Ace 2 and the flagship OnePlus 11.
By the way, OnePlus tweaked the Ace 2 memory configuration and released it as the OnePlus 11R in select markets. Right now it’s not clear whether the Pro variant will be released outside of China and what model name will be used.
