Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series coming to Europe on January 26

Last week, a media report claimed Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi will introduce the Redmi Note 11 in Europe with a starting price of €250. While Redmi hasn't verified that claim, the company took to social media to announce its January 26 event, which will mark the debut of the Note 11 series in Europe.

Xiaomi didn't explicitly mention the region in its posts, but we know it's Europe since the Note 11 series is already available in multiple markets, including China and India.

Xiaomi also doesn't tell us how many smartphones it will announce for Europe next Wednesday, but it's safe to say we'll see at least two handsets since the company's using the word "series" in its social media posts.

One of the smartphones expected to be the star of the show is the Redmi Note 11 4G, announced last November in China. It's powered by the Helio G88 SoC, but the global model is expected to come with the Snapdragon 680 chip.

If the rest of the specs remain the same, you'll get a 6.5" 90Hz FullHD+ LCD, Android 11-based MIUI 12.5, 50MP triple camera, 8MP selfie camera, stereo speakers, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging.
